An Interesting Read

The concept is great but the execution could use some work. There are a few typos throughout. I love the idea and it seemed like it would be a fun read for a month.

The problem is that the ideas are not fleshed out at all. More Scripture to back up the concepts would be fantastic. Maybe tie the stories to a character or event from the Bible.

I would love to see this in a second edition because the ideas was a great one.

Great book for coaches.

This book divides players into four playing styles based on a paragraph description of each. Then, it has a chart showing which patterns and drills in the book each style should focus on to improve their play. There are two chapters each on Serves, Returns, Midcourt, and Volleying. The first chapter describes the patterns of play and the second has drills to improve on the patterns.
This is focused on singles instruction and is a great drill and skills book for a coach. Most all of the drills are for multiple player training.
If you're looking for a book to give you drills to improve your tennis team, its a great buy. If you're looking for a book about strategy, what to do, and why, then this is not the book for you.

UNDERSTANDING THE GAME

I coach tennis for kids and teenagers for over 12 years. In order to plan classes not boring and profitable, I seek books that have pratical drills.

Besides having this kind of drills, this book shows you HOW, WHY and WHEN you should apply them to a specific game situation. Using diferent patterns of play, from the defensive player to the aggressive one, this book matches drills with tactics, giving you a good perspective of THE GAME.

I strongly recommend it.

winning the right way

This book addresses effective tennis strategies from every angle. Tennis is a mental game after all. You just need physical fitness and endurance to go with it. Each drill comes with a clear description (category, purpose, player's level, time, procedure, coaching points) and a diagram. Every player's level is covered - from beginner to professional. In addition, USTA does not overlook the importance of planning your strategy around your and the opponent's strengths and weaknesses. In this respect, four basic styles of play are addressed: 1) counterpuncher, 2) aggressive baseliner, 3) all-court-player, and 4) serve-and-volleyer. Not only it recommends drill patterns for your particular style of play, it also offers a valuable look at the drill patterns that your opponent with a different style may (and surely will) use against you during a match. As an aggressive baseliner, I have always found playing against counterpunchers frustrating - now I know why. And if you are willing to step out of your comfort zone, and practise every drill in this book (as long as your level allows it, of course), your tennis skills will improve greatly. It goes without saying that you need another dedicated player to practise the drills for singles (or three for doubles), and a coach who will guide you through the drills and make necessary corrections (especially if you are a beginner or intermediate player). A great book for every competitive tennis player!

Hey! I'm Estelle Maskame and I write the DIMILY trilogy! I'm a total bookworm and YA addict, not to mention a hopeless romantic. I've always adored books and writing while growing up, and all throughout primary school I loved to write stories about talking dolphins and pirate ships. Admittedly, I've moved away from the eight-year-old fantasy genre and now focus on writing YA romance.

I grew up in a small town called Peterhead in the North-east of Scotland, and I belong to a huge fishing family! My favourite things include books, hot chocolate (with cream and marshmallows, of course), road trips, new clothes, my best friends, and chicken nuggets. On another note, I absolutely hate terrible drivers, snow, the dentist, and people who wake me up before 10AM.

Buy it ASAP!

I started reading this book on Wattpad as it was being posted and nearly finished it before Estelle decided to take it down to publish it. I loved the book on Wattpad and loved the ending in the published book. This is an amazing Teen Fiction book that I absolutely love. I can't wait to read DIMINY and DIMIMY! I totally recommend this book if you don't mind the step-brother romance topic. Great value and amazing read!

SO MUCH BETTER THAN AFTER! AND WRITTEN ALOT BETTER TOO

I finally managed to finish reading this book and my god, was it a roller-coaster for my emotions. DIMILY, is a story about two step siblings who develop feelings for each other. While trying to keep her attraction to her step brother, Tyler a secret, she discovers other hidden secrets and ascepts of her new love/brothers life.

Tyler is a multitude of hidden secrets that are the cause of his outbursts and needs for a distraction. When her dad marries his mother, Tyler makes it no secret that he hates Eden right off the bat. But one night, haterd turns to affection, leading to a disarray of emotions within Eden.

You are not suppose to fall in love with your stepbrother, especially when he has a girlfriend, who is now your bestfriend.

DIMILY is similiar in a sense to Anna Todd's After series 1) it had me HOOKED and 2) they were both published in Wattpad. But that is where the similarities end, DIMILY is written ten times more well than After. The character of Eden didn't cry or whine as much as Tessa and Tyler, while he was messed up, he owned it and knew WHY and wasn't as violent. He was a jerk, very much but he used his love for Eden as a distraction from his troubles.

The story was so emotional and well thought out, i was hooked from the very beginning. I was mad at Eden towards the en of the book, after the events of Tiffani's lie was exposed and how she handle things in the car. I knew what she was doing was right in a way, but how could she just shut everything off like that? It was so painful to read.

I can not wait to read Book 2. I can not wait to see what, Estelle puts us through next.

Tyler needs a hug.

I want to hug Tyler. Hard.

That's the very first thing that comes to mind when I think of this book.

Tyler's character is what made me me REALLY enjoy it. He's a complete mystery until the very last page. Shoot, he's STILL a mystery. He's sweet one moment and a total jerk the next. He has this whole different side that you just want to dig into and learn all of his secrets...and he has a lot!

Eden...I have such mixed feelings toward. I want to shake her and tell her "DON'T YOU GET IT!" when it comes to Tyler, especially since she's all in psychology. But once she does get it, she's too does this complete 180 and I finally feel like she's headed down the right path in her future career because I can see how smart she is.

Their relationship and the way they work together just...well, works. The realism is my favorite part. It's not a fantasy, it's not easy, it's not "oh we'll work through it" type of thing. It's twisted and real and raw and good. The angst and drama was sprinkled in perfectly.

The ending...that was good. That was perfect. Because you COULD call this the end. But you don't want to. No, you WANT to go next Summer. You NEED to go next Summer. So, you're GOING TO GO next Summer. Because Eden and Tyler are going to suck you into this wicked web they've managed to create. And you're going to like it.

Kudos to Maskame! You've created a story that grips the reader but also puts a lot into perspective when it comes to how complicated a relationship can be...at any age or stage in life. I'm looking forward to Did I Mention I Need You.

poor description; string arrangement

I needed a wind score, and I received a string score. When reviewing my order, I realized there was no description of the product that included the arranger of the string score I received. So I was misled to order what I believed would be the original Boosey & Hawkes arrangement of the score. So unless you want a revised version with strings only, do not order this score!

This soft covered text is over 500 pages and contains a capsule summary which gives you an overview of the sections which should be read first. Great Value with much of the same data as the more expensive version

Great book for 30 bucks, compared to the 300$ version, even if it is just "remodel" information, most of the data are the same, you just have to spend some extra time sorting through it for new construction decisions. Things like 10ft vs 12 foot ceilings, french vs sliding doors, brick vs stucco vs hardiboard. Makes for a much more intelligent discussion with the architect and the builder. From the Art of War - know your opponent. This book contains real pricing data unlike most of the other "estimating guides" out there like the Dewalt ones.

Highly recommend!

I love this novella that ties into the Yellowstone series that once again brings together a few of my favorite hero's and heroines from the other books. Daniel and Aimee, Chase and Sarah, Dan and Jana, all very strong characters that are hard to let go and close the book when you reach the end. Peggy l Henderson is a wonderful writer and her stories pull you in from the first page until you have read the final word and than you want to start all over again. This book has the humor, romance, love of family and a little suspense that you always expect from this author along with the beautiful descriptions of Yellowstone National Park. I highly recommend this and all of her books. Start with the first, Yellowstone Heart Song, it's free to get you started on a book you won't be able to put down, I promise! JudyE

A novella that just adds more good to the Yellowstone Series and gives you a whole lot more in less words.

This novella is just as fulfilling to the reader as the full novels. It has a purpose as a shorter story and it pulls at the heart strings like the other books in this series. This story starts to tell a greater planned story than what you would expect and I greatly enjoyed it more the second time around. I am rereading the whole Yellowstone series and I learn more and remember more from each book now and wow I have to say rereading these fantastic stories is making me wanting more as I learn so much in each on the second time around.
This has the love, the tug on the heart strings, the adventure and even more time travel which the family of Daniel, Aimee and Chase and Sarah didn't think was possible. It has twists and turn you have come to expect in this series and all of Peggy L Henderson's stories. The endings are not always what you think and always leaves you wanting more. This one brings together much beloved characters from past and future and brings a mom and son even together which was unexpected.
I loved this story even better the second time and learned just so much that I hadn't remembered.
This is another MUST READ and all Yellowstone series lovers. Even if you haven't started reading this series you MUST read it.
But start with Yellowstone Heart Song the first book in the series. I guarantee if you love history, have been to and love Yellowstone National Park, love romance and adventure and even heart pounding suspense start reading these books. Peggy Henderson will quickly become a favorite author.
If you already have read the books read them again as you remember so much you have forgotten.

Revisit Old Friends!

If you liked Yellowstone Heart Song and Yellowstone Redemption, you are going to love Yellowstone Promise. You will revisit with old friends, Aimee, Daniel, Chase and Sarah. Among some others you might know. I think this is one of Peggy Henderson's best writing. The story brings out emotions in you, takes you to places that are filled with detail and makes you feel like you are right there living it with them.

The adventure and surprises are just as strong as the first book if not more exciting. This will make you laugh cry and hold your breath and pull at your heart.

The only con to this book is that it is a novella, but it has as much interest and fulfillment as a regular size book. You will get lost and caught up in the story and love it as you do all of this author's books.

A must read!

Teh Vedanta Society probably established by his early followers still has branches all over the United States, almost one hundred years later! Due to his charismatic personality, a talent to explain most intricate concepts in Indian Philosophy to everyone, including people from the West during colonial India, he was one of the most influential personalities of 20th century India. Explaining the religious and philosophical meanings of Srimad Bhagavad Gita to largely Western readers was his gift perhaps endowed by Lord Krishna himself!
The book is meant to be for erudite audience, edited for grammar and composition by subsequent followers and the Kindle addition is an excellent read. I cannot judge the content, it is not for a mortal like me with little training in religious philosophy. But, most of the teachings of Gita is for every day life! For me Srimad Bhagavad Gita is the ultimate book, an essence of all religions.

This was my second reading of Swami's writings after living in the United States for close to 30 years. I am amazed and enlightened each time at the rational thoughts and explanations of complex philosophical nuances outlined in this book. It is simply divine! I recommend this to every one who is interested in Hindu philosophy or trying to grasp what life is all about!

Swami is a genius

Vivekananda is a God realized person. He speaks from knowledge, not opinion. He has experienced God; he doesn't believe there is someone in the clouds to answer your prayers. He believes we have all power given to us. His interpretations are easy to understand.
